Well this is what doing stuff for the George Crawford Legacy Trust found me doing on Friday 18th October. Playing with 40 tractors and then posing in a field with my brother on his even bigger blue tractor from Lloyds, Kelso – it was much dirtier! James was like all his Christmas’ had come at once as we positioned the tractors to get ‘their best side’ – no makeup involved, I promise!
Alastair Fisher was in attendance from Lloyds for the official handshake photo and handing over of the 40 sets of keys was completed – well not quite the key bit!
We are going to use these as our centrepiece table decoration on the night of the ball and selling them off to the highest bidder on each table – well, I hope! So, keep this in mind if you need Christmas presents for the wee or big farm daft boys and girls like James and George.
This also allows me a small way to say a heartfelt huge thank you for the team down at Lloyds in Kelso that made this all happen – they could not have done more for us.
