Before Christmas 2018, Livy Agnew contacted us to say she would like the George Crawford Legacy Trust to be one of the two recipient charities for her last ever running of Hendersyde Horse Trials in 2019.
We as a family have been attending and competing at Hendersyde over many years but not even near the 20 years that the Agnew family have been putting all their energy and passion behind the event for us all to enjoy.
George and Lucinda competed here in the same class in 2016. I have some of my most treasured photos at home taken of those two on that day. George’s dressage and jumping instructor throughout the years was in attendance – that is his sister believe it or not! They got on so well and he completely took all his instruction from her teasing her along the way and acting up but that was just George. On the day, he finished a very creditable 5th.
So, this year we walked the XC course which looked very daunting especially the water for the tetrathlon championships. The team had pulled off another fantastic event and for the Crawford family we have nothing but precious memories from our experiences across the classes and over the years we have been going.
A cheque arrived in August for the George Crawford Legacy Trust for £2000 – amazing, thank you thank you!
